Terms of Use
Terms governing use of CollectiveClaim.us: licence to read, acceptable use, intellectual property, third-party links, no warranty, and limits on liability.

On this page
By using CollectiveClaim.us you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
1. What this site is
CollectiveClaim.us is a publisher of general legal information in the United States and a marketing service that passes reader inquiries to law firms. It is not a law firm and does not practise law, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by reading it, quoting it or contacting the editorial desk. The disclaimer forms part of these terms.
2. Licence to use the site
You may read, print, and link to pages, and quote reasonable extracts with attribution to CollectiveClaim.us and a link to the page you quoted. You may not:
- republish substantial parts of an article, or a whole article, without written permission;
- scrape or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades service for other readers;
- present our content as legal advice, or as a promise or recommendation that any particular lawyer, firm or claim will succeed;
- use the CollectiveClaim.us name or marks to imply endorsement, partnership or representation.
Automated access for ordinary search indexing and for AI-assisted answering is permitted; bulk harvesting for content farms, claim-generation or impersonation is not.
3. Content from third parties
Articles quote and link to documents published by courts, agencies, legislatures, companies and settlement administrators, and to news reporting. Those materials belong to their publishers and are governed by their terms. We link to them; we do not republish them wholesale.
4. Accuracy, updates and no warranty
We work to a sourcing standard set out in the editorial policy, and we correct errors under the corrections policy. Even so, the site is provided as is: litigation is a moving record, agencies revise guidance, and a statement that was accurate on the date of publication can become stale. We do not warrant that any page is current, complete or error-free, and you should verify status against the court, agency or official settlement notice before relying on it. External links are provided for reference; we do not control those sites.
5. No professional relationship, no outcomes
Nothing on this site should be read as a promise or prediction of any legal outcome, eligibility, settlement, award, ranking or result. We do not assess individual claims.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CollectiveClaim.us and its contributors are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Copyright and complaints
Content on this site is protected by copyright. If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, email editorial@collectiveclaim.us with the URL and the basis of the complaint; we will respond and, where the complaint is well founded, remove or amend the material.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version; substantive changes are listed on the corrections policy page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the jurisdiction in which the publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer right you may have where you live.
10. Contact
CollectiveClaim.us publishes general legal information. This article is not legal advice and does not create an attorney–client relationship. Court records and agency actions change; verify current status with the court or agency before relying on it.
